Army Public School Saddar and Army Public School Faisal were established in 1994 and 1995 to impart quality education to residents of Karachi Garrison. Ever-burgeoning strength of students necessitated expansion, resultantly, College Campuses at Saddar & Faisal were added in 2005 and 2014 respectively. Year 2019/20 witnessed bifurcation of Saddar Campus into Girls and Boys Wings. In 2023, Commander 5 Corps envisioned transformation of Army Public School & Colleges Saddar, Faisal and Special Education School “Life” into Karachi Garrison Education System (KGES) under one umbrella on the lines of Lahore Garrison Education System as pilot project.
The transformation to KGES was undertaken in September 23 by Brigadier Sajjad Hussain, the then President Management Committee (PMC). KGES will serve as an ideal platform with modern and well-resourced campuses enabling students to acquire knowledge, pursue future careers and render their services as responsible citizens of Pakistan.
